Masaza Cup: Fahad Nsuki Earns Point For Buwekula

Fahad Nsuki scored an equalizer at the stroke of halftime to earn a point for Buwekula in a draw against Buvuma.

He tapped in from close range when Mark Kisenyi delivered a well weighed corner.

The one point earned sees Buwekula move to four points from two games played so far in the Bulange group.

Buvuma on the other hand, picked their first point from three games after losing the opening two.

Buvuma’s goal was scored by Bruno Bunyanga after the half-hour mark.

As it stands Buvuma’s chances of qualifying to the next round are all but over as it stands.

At 1-1, Buwekula had a brilliant chance in second half to complete a comeback but there effort on goal was cleared off the line by Joseph Ssenyonjo with Buvuma goalkeeper was beaten.

Buvuma’s best chance came in the closing stages but Bunyaga failed to beat the Buwekula goalkeeper.

Buwekula play Busujju in their next match on Sunday while Buvuma play Busujju on Tuesday January 5.
