Rwanda Premier League giants AS Kigali have named their travelling squad to face KCCA FC in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup first round.

Kigali were awarded a 2-0 victory by CAF after KCCA failed to raise a required number of players for the first leg due to Covid19.

The 23-player squad is set to travel to Kampala for the return leg due January 6.

New signing Lawal Abubaker headlines the squad after the Nigerian scored the all important goal as the side eliminated Botswana’s Orapa United in Kigali at the preliminary round for the side that had lost the first leg 2-1 on the road.

Other new signings Muhadjiri Hakizimana, Emery Bayisenge, Hassan Rugirayabo, Shaban Hussein Tshabalala and Abeddy Biramahire have been included on the team.
