*Busujju 2-0 Buwekula
Busujju earned their first victory of the ongoing Masaza Cup thanks to a commendable display against Buwekula.
Busujju won 2-0 in the first game played on Sunday morning courtesy of goals from Shafic Kakande and Isaac Kiberu.
This is the first win for Busujju who move to four points from three games and will face Buvuma on January 5 in their last group game.
Buwekula remains on four points ahead of their last group game against Busiro.
Busujju dominated the game from the first minute with danger man Brian Omirambe putting a lot of pressure on the Buwekula defence.
They finally got a breakthrough in the 27th minute of the game courtesy of a Kakande strike.
Buwekula had Fahad Nsuki come close to levelling matters but was denied by an organised Busujju side.
In the second half, Busujju continued to ask questions with Kaye Ronald missing two keeper-to-beat chances.
In the 70th minute of the game, Busujju got their second from Kiberu’s corner to leave keeper Walusimbi Eddy reeling.
Busujju could have got the third of the game in the 71st min but Omirambe’s effort went over the cross bar with just a keeper to beat.
