*Busujju 2- 0 Buwekula
*Busiro 1-1 Kyaggwe
Ten-man Busiro fought back to earn a vital point against Kyaggwe in the Masaza Cup game played on Sunday at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.
Ronald Obele put Kyaggwe in the lead at the half-hour mark and Busiro woes were extended when Amuza Kalibwami was sent off before the halftime break.
Busiro could later stage an improved second half highlighted by Kuteesa Malida’s equaliser in the 68th minute.
The result leaves Busiro on top with seven points and will face Buwekula (on four points) in a crucial tie that will see winner reach the knockout stage.
This was the last group game for Kyaggwe who are second with five points but can be leapfrogged by Busujju or Buwekula who still have a game in hand.
Moses Buga set Obele for Kyaggwe’s goal and the side could have registered a better scoreline but failed to benefit from their numerical advantage.
Buga was outstanding in the first half and had a chance skewed wide. Kyaggwe also had a goal ruled out in the 83rd minute for a foul on Busiro goalkeeper Juma Kirabira.
Busiro, on blink of sealing a place in the knockout, are still unbeaten from their three games.
Gerald Ogweti ran on the left to deliver an assist for Kutesa Malida for the equaliser.
Busiro, before going a man down, created some good chances including one which saw Arafat Usama denied by goalkeeper Florence Watimon who later kept out Ogweti.
