We Have To Work As a Team – Keziron On AS Kigali Tie

KCCA FC Attacking midfielder Keziron Kizito says that they have to work as a team if they are to eliminate AS Kigali.

KCCA FC will play host to AS Kigali on Wednesday in the second leg of the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The Lugogo-based side lost the first leg by forfeiture, 2-0, after they failed to raise the required number of players due to Covid19.

“We are focussing more on scoring and endurance as we want to overturn the 2-0 advantage they have, We have to work as team, we have to create and finish chances,” Keziron said.

“Everyone on the team is focused, the guys are positive so the fans have to be with us spiritually and as the way we are working, with God, we are going to over come this and go to the next level”

KCCA FC entered residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi ahead of the game.

He added: “Being together in the camp helps us to bond more because when you are together targeting one common goal its easier for us to overcome the challenge.”

KCCA FC received a bye to reach this stage while AS Kigali ousted Botswana’s Orapa United.

AS Kigali jetted in on Saturday aboard RwandAir and booked at Marriott Hotel.
