Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC have confirmed the signing of forward Yunus Ssentamu.
Ssentamu returns at the club since his departure in 2014 and has signed a two-year contract.
He boosts the striking department for the club that acquired Congolese Caesar Manzoki before the kickoff of this season.
He comes with experience but has not been actively involved since 2019 featuring for Tirana in Albania.
He played for AS Vita (Congo), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia) and Ilves (Finland).
“Everyone knows the special relationship l have with this club and it has always felt like home to me,” Ssentamu told Vipers media.
“My desire to win is still the same and l look forward to the opportunity to help the team achieve. I am excited for this next chapter of my career.”
He will wear jersey 12 at Vipers as he seeks to help the club defend league title.
He scored three goals for Uganda Cranes at the 2014 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa.
