Six Dropped As Byekwaso Names Hippos Squad To Tanzania

Uganda Hippos squad to Tanzania for the Mini Tournament has been named.

Coach Morley Byekwaso has named a team of 25 players, including Cranes duo Bobosi Byaruhanga and Aziz Kayondo.

The six dropped players include goalkeeper Daniel Ochama from Boro Boro while Vipers defender Robert Kitabalwa has also not made the cut.

Express FC right back Richard Bbosa has been dropped alongside Alou John Kokas (URA), Raymond Onyai (Mbarara) and Ashraf Mulindi (Kataka).

The team will travel to Tanzania on Monday where they will also face Namibia U20 team.

The tournament, due February 2-9, will fine tune the side for the AFCON U20 Championship in Mauritania.
