Uganda Hippos and Tanzania face off in a second back-to-back friendly at Azam Complex in Chamazi.

The first meeting ended 1-0 in favour of the Hippos thanks to a brilliant diving header from Richard Basangwa.

Both sides will be looking to end the two-team tourney on a high before flying out for the forthcoming 2021 AFCON U20 Championship in Mauritania due February 14 to March 4.

After the first friendly, coach Morley Byekwaso confirmed that he will ring a couple of changes to the team ahead of the second friendly because “we need to ensure that we have up to 15 players who are very fit…”

As earlier stated, Namibia pulled out of what was supposed to be a three-year tournament.

Uganda, who beat Tanzania 4-1 to lift the Cecafa last year, is in Group B alongside Mozambique, Cameroon and Mauritania.

They will face Mozambique in the first match on 15th February 2021. The second match will be on 17th February against Cameroon before taking on Mauritania in the last group match on 20th February 2021.

For the Ngorongoro Heroes, they have been pitted in Group C with Ghana, Gambia and Morocco.
