Vipers SC Signs Another Striker

Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC have completed the signing of striker Lawrence Tezikya.

The-SportsNation has landed on the exclusive photos ahead of the official unveiling.

Tezikya has signed a three-year contract with Vipers, The-SportsNation sources can confirm.

He joins from Uganda Premier League side Busoga United FC.

A deal to join Vipers was agreed in principle around October last year before the player put pen to dotted lines last week.

He is the latest addition for the defending champions who recently unveiled Yunus Ssentamu.

Nicknamed Enzo, he joins a list of other forwards at the club including Caesar Manzoki, Dan Mzee Sserunkuma, Shaban Muhammad among others.

The youngster made his league debut for Busoga United on Tuesday 13 November 2019 in the goalless draw with Maroons, and ended the season with five goals.

Tezikya won the 2017 Copa Coca-Cola Schools cup winner with Jinja SS and finished as the leading scorer in the competition two times (2018 and 2019).
