Preview:
Onduparaka FC were flying high before the league took a break, recording a 3-1 away win against Kitara thanks to a brace from Gabriel Matata and a strike from Kabon Living.
They are however yet to win a home game this season – drawing 1-1 with Express and Wakiso Giants.
A lot has happened since December – New signings, New Jersey and two sponsorship deals on the table.
Tonny Kyamera, Ramathan Yakubu, Hakim Magombe, Emmanuel Ssenkaayi, Ali Mukiibi, Nasser Muzamir and Mohammed Med Kyeline have been added to the ranks.
They will be confident going into this one especially at the time when limited fans have been allowed to access the stadium.
Busoga United have had many set backs but will be hoping to make amends having failed to pick a win in their opening five games so far.
They scored three against Vipers but conceding five in the same game will continue to worry the technical team, in a game they led 2-1 at one point.
They have added seven new signings – Elvis Ngonde, William George Kalyowa, Ekellot Ibrahim, Isaac Wagoina, Wamusi Bernard, Byron Benda and Shaka Ssozi – who have all travelled with the team to Arua.
It will take time to gel and hit the ground for the new additions, and the fact that they have not had top flight league experience, coach Abbey Kikomeko will bank on his old guns.
Did You Know – Busoga have leaked in three goals in each of their league games except in a 1-1 draw against Kyetume
