Preview

UPDF will be desperate to bounce back from the disappointing loss to Vipers SC this past Saturday in a game that saw them have two players sent off.

The Army side started the season brightly, winning all of their opening three games but have now lost two in their last three.

They sat top of the league at the break (after five games) and will be hoping for three more points that will see them return to the summit if both Police and Vipers lose their respective fixtures on the same day.

UPDF boosts a 100% home record this campaign, winning all three of their encounters at Bombo, scoring six goals and conceding just once.

For Onduparaka, they have erased their early season poor show and are starting to gain momentum.

After losing both of their opening two games including an 8-0 thrashing at the hands of KCCA FC, the Caterpillars have gone on a four game unbeaten streak (W2 D2).

However, they drew 1-1 in their last game at home to Busoga United and will be hoping to return to winning ways on Tuesday.

The West Nile based side have also won their last two away games scoring six goals in the process.

The Stats

The two sides will be meeting for only the third time in history.

The first two came in the 2017/18 season with Onduparaka taking four points off the Army side who would eventually be relegated at the end of the season.

In their only previous match-up at Bombo, they drew 0-0.
