Preview: Wounded URA Target MYDA Scalp

URA FC take along trip to Tororo United to face hosts MYDA FC on Matchday seven of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The Tax Collectors lost 1-0 to Express FC in their last encounter, with George Ssenkaaba’s goal snapping a three-game winning run for Sam Ssimbwa’s charges.

The Tax Collectors will be hoping for maximum points and will fancy their chances against a side that is yet to pick a win since joining top flight.

MYDA, winless in six, lost 1-0 to SC Villa in a game they looked composed at the back.

Their last home game was a 3-3 draw against Mbarara and will target to build on that as they continue their search for maximum points.

“We are aware that URA lost their last game, they will come very hungry for points but we are also hungry for our first win,” MYDA coach Musafiri Abdul Samadu said.

“We are not making many changes from the team that played against SC Villa because the boys played very well and we hope to win our first game.”

URA FC are sixth on the table with 11 points while MYDA have just one point and occupy 15th place.
