Preview: Battle Of Struggling Entities

Both sides find themselves in the bottom half of the table going into Match-day eight.

Busoga United ended last season in fourth, while Mbarara were seventh. A lot has happened since.

Busoga are yet to win a game of football – with just three points courtesy of draws against Kyetume, Onduparaka and Bright Stars.

The Ankole Lions on the other hand, beat Kitara 1-0 last time out to win their first league game from seven attempts.

That win brought morale and boost for Mbarara City as the side seek to keep afloat in what promises to be a difficult season.

They will be without coach Brian Ssenyondo, with Sadiq Ssempigi set to deputise.

In the last meeting, Lawrence Tezikya scored the only goal as Busoga United beat Mbarara City 1-0.
