Police goalkeeper Derrick Ochan was given a straight red card for infringement and his side went on to lose 3-2 in a league game at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende on Friday.
The former Venoms custodian rushed off his line to stop Vipers from getting a chance and handled the ball.
The linesman signalled for a foul, Ochan was judged to have handled the ball outside his area and as a consequence, sent for an early shower.
Was it a red card?
No. No. No.
The ball was inside the box by the time Ochan made the save.
And even if it was outside the box, it would be a caution because his attempt did not deny a CLEAR goalscoring opportunity because there were about three Police defenders already behind him.
