CAF has conducted the group stage draw of the 2020-21 CAF Confederation Cup.
The draws were held at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Monday.
Defending Champions RS Berkane (Morocco) have been pitted against Algeria’s JS Kabylie, Coton Sport of Cameroon and Zambian debutants NAPSA Stars in Group B.
Enyimba who knocked out fellow Nigerians Rivers United via shootouts, are in Group A with Es Setif (Algeria), Orlando Pirates (South Africa) a d Ahli Benghazi (Libya).
Sfaxien who eliminated AS Kigali are in Group C with winner between Etoile Sahel (Tunisia) and Buffaloes (Eswatini), Salitas (Burkina Faso) and Jaraaf (Senegal).
Last season’s beaten finalists Pyramids have been pitted in Group D with Nkana who beat Gor Mahia and winner between Namungo (Tanzania) and Angola’s Primeiro De Agosto.
Namungo won the first leg of their final preliminary round against Primeiro de Agosto 6-2 at Azam Complex in Chamazi, Dar es Salaam where the second leg will be played on Thursday.
The 2020–21 CAF Confederation Cup group stage will be played from 10 March to 28 April 2021.
In the group stage, each group will be played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. The winners and runners-up of each group will advance to the quarter-finals of the knockout stage.
