Express FC will be out to register successive victories for the first time this season.
Having defeated BUL FC 4-0 in their last game, the Red Eagles have a chance to make it back to back wins for the first time since Wasswa Bbosa’s first two games in February 2020.
They look to be on course to having a good season after starting it on a decent note.
They are currently one of just three sides that are still unbeaten in the league this season.
That form of four wins and as many draws in eight games has seen them climb into third and are in the conversation of favourites to win it.
Starting the day only two points adrift of the leaders Vipers SC, the Red Eagles know that a win may see them move top of the log for the first time this season if the Venoms lose to BUL in their match-day 9 fixture.
“We have corrected some of the mistakes we did last time and we are well prepared going into tomorrow’s game and what ever we have done in our last training session, we shall try to ensure everything works out as we hope. Express assistant coach James Odoch noted on Monday.
“It will be a tight game against MYDA who have lost almost every game and they will come out to challenge us but i am hopeful we will shall win the game.”
It will indeed be a tight game as MYDA are chasing points at the moment.
The UPL debutants are yet to win a game this season after losing seven and drawing just once in eight games.
Off a thrashing at the hands of KCCA FC, MYDA will want to erase those memories by picking a good result against one of the title hopefuls.
It will be a daunting task but they will hope Ibrahim Nsimbe who is their top scorer can lead them to a seemingly unlikely result.
MYDA start the day second from bottom, level on points (1) with rooted Kitara FC.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides in history.
