Bbosa hungry for more goals despite Express netting four at MYDA FC

Express FC head coach Bbosa Waswa says his side can score more goals despite netting for against struggling MYDA FC.

The Red Eagles registered their 5th victory of the season on Tuesday thanks to a 4-1 victory away to the league debutants.

A brace each from in-form striker George Ssenkaba and Godfrey Lwesibawa did the trick for Bbosa’s side who are yet to lose a game this season.

Speaking after the game, Bbosa could not hide his excitement regarding the fact that his side scored four on the day.

“The good thing is that we managed to win our game today by scoring four times. Bbosa said.

“We have been missing opportunities because of panic and pressure from my players but the food thing is that they (players) are now starting to concentrate.”

Express are the 5th highest scorers in the division this season having netted 16 goals, six less than Vipers who have found the back of the net on the most occasions.

The Red Eagles who have also let in just six at the other end, now boost of a +10 goal difference, the 4th best in the league, only behind KCCA FC (+13), Vipers SC (+13) and Police FC (+12).

Despite the fine return of goals, Bbosa says that his side will go back and try to score more in the upcoming games.

“We create like 10 good chances in a game and put away just a few.

“We are going to go back and prepare better so as we ensure the goals continue going in.”

The Red Eagles will return to action on Friday at home to Wakiso Giants FC.

They currently sit second on the table with 19 points, two behind leaders Vipers with both sides having played nine games.
