KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi has confirmed the team news for their fixture against Kitara FC on Saturday at StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Mutebi is delighted by the return of striker Anaku and Dominic Ayella who are yet to make a league appearance this season due to license issues.
Ayella will be looking forward for his senior debut since his promotion from the club’s Soccer Academy.
“Sadat Anaku plus Dominic Ayella are back which brings more competitiveness amongst players,” Mutebi said on Friday.
“Mazengo, Gift Ali, Juma Balinya, Julius Poloto are out, but the same squad that faced Wakiso Giants will feature in this game,” he added.
KCCA FC will also be without a couple of youngters, including striker Sam Ssenyonjo, who are with Uganda Hippos in Mauritania.
Against Kitara who have one point from nine games, Mutebi says they will treat the game like any other team.
“They are in the league just as we are. So it is another club that we are going to face tomorrow,” he said
“We shall treat the game like like we have always treated the other games”
Mutebi added that they will need to score more goals as “we move away to take those opportunities.”
Mutebi will be looking forward to coming back to winning ways when they host Kitara FC after the 1-1 draw in the last game with Wakiso Giants.
KCCA FC currently sit eighth on the log, with 14 points from nine games played.
