UPL: BUL Late Goals Compound MYDA Misery

BUL FC finished it late to extend MYDA FC’s misery in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

MYDA FC were on course for a point before late goals for the hosts at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.

MYDA FC’s Moses Batali headed in at stroke of halftime to cancel Musa Esenu’s strike in the 16th minute.

Simon Peter handed BUL a lead when he scored off Aggrey Madoi’s cross with just nine minutes to close of action.

Anwar Ntege put the game to bed in the 85th minute before Joseph Ssemujju scored from the spot in the added minutes.

BUL coach Arthur Kyesimira was sent off (second booking) for continued protests against the match officials.

The Eastern Giants move 12th with 10 points after as many games.

This is the ninth loss for newcomers MYDA who remain rock bottom with just a point having conceded a league high 36 goals.

What Next – BUL visit Onduparaka while MYDA face Wakiso Giants at Wakissha.
