Muruli Brace Salvages Point For Police FC At Bright Stars

In-form Brain Muruli scored twice as his side came from behind to draw 2- 2 away to Soltilo Bright Stars on Saturday.

Muruli who came in the match with three goals, netted his first on the day, cancelling out Samuel Kayongo opener inside 13 minutes.

Kayongo restored the Stars lead at the hour mark but once again, Muruli levelled matters with five minutes to play to ensure both sides head home with just a single point.

The draw leaves Police 4th on the log with 20 points while Bright stars are now 9th with 14 points.

Police will next face Mbarara City while Bright Stars play Vipers away from home.
