Odoch Unsatisfied With Express Scoring Return Despite 3-0 Win Over Wakiso Giants

Express FC assistant coach James Odoch is unsatisfied with his sides scoring return despite winning 3-0 win against Wakiso Giants.

The Red Eagles were rampant as they downed the Purple Sharks thanks to a goal each by George Ssenkaba, Charles Musiige and Geoffrey Lwesibawa.

However, they missed several clear cut chances, something that left Odoch unimpressed.

“I thank players for this win. Odoch stated

“Actually we’ve been working for this because we knew we are playing a tricky team and this is their first loss. Our strategy was to get them on the brake because they are comfortable on the ball and so we had to counter them.

“But still I’m not happy with our scoring return because we created and miss a lot of chances and this is the thing we’ve been working on daily but I think we still have time to improve.

“We will go back on the drawing board and try to perfect on that because its still our challenge.

“This isn’t our best game so fa. As you saw we would have scored like six goals and we need goals because you never know where we are going, we might reach a certain time when goals are to decide.”

After the win over Wakiso, Express are now top of the Uganda Premier League with 22 points from 10 games.

The Red Eagles play away from home on match day 11, facing Kitara FC at Kavumba next Tuesday.
