Vipers moved back to the top of the league table after a convincing 3-1 away win against Onduparaka FC.

The lunchtime kickoff game was played under scorching sun at the AbaBet Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Ibrahim Orit set the tone in the 26th minute when he headed in a Dissan Galiwango corner after poor marking in the Onduparaka area.

Caesar Manzoki doubled the lead at the hour mark before Paul Mucureezi put the Venoms in total control three minutes later.

Livin Kabon brought one back for the hosts in the added minutes but it was too late to salvage at least a point.

Vipers are back at the top with 24 points, two points clear of Express in second who beat Wakiso Giants in Wankulukuku on Friday.

The Caterpillars remain on 15 points having lost their second league game in a row after that Police FC defeat in midweek.

Onduparaka has never beaten Vipers since their 1-0 first league meeting in Arua in 2016.
