Uganda Revenue Authority football club URA FC beat UPDF FC 0-1 away from home in a Uganda premier league game played at the Bombo Barracks.
Forward Steven Mukwala scored the all important goal for the tax collectors in the 30th minute.
Hosts UPDF came into the tie off a win against SC Villa at the same venue in their most recent fixture.
On the other hand URA were 1-0 winners against Busoga United last weekend.
The Tax Collectors had other chances to improve the score line but it just couldn’t be as Ivan Ntege’s strike went wide before Cromwell Rwothomio was expertly denied by Yusuf Wasswa.
URA’s only undoing on the day was the sight of Alionzi Nathian being forced off with what looked like a serious injury with 13 minutes to play.
After match day 11, URA are now third on the table with 24 points while UPDF drops to 6th with 18points from 11 games.
In their next fixtures, UPDF play away to KCCA FC on while URA hosts Kyetume FC.
