After Express took care of Kitara FC on Tuesday, the Venoms head into the game second on the log, one point behind the leaders.

Fred Kajoba’s side will be full of confidence as they have won all of their last three games including a first-ever victory away to Onduparaka FC last weekend.

After starting slowly in game, the Venoms were rampant in the opening exchanges against the Caterpillars and will be hoping for more of the same when they return to Kitende, a venue that has become a fortress of sorts for a while now.

The Kitende based side have won all of their past six games at Kitende, scoring an impressive six goals and conceding just three.

That sort of form will worry anyone visiting including Bright Stars who are yet to win a game on their travels this season.

In their five away games so far, Baker Mbowa’s side have drawn lost one and drawn the other four including all the last three contests.

Overall, the visitors have been in decent form of late and will be motivated for the game.

After picking just a single point in their first three games, Bright Stars have gone on a seven game unbeaten run (W3 D4).

Bright Stars are currently on a seven game unbeaten run.

They have scored in nine of their opening 10 games and will come into this one fancying themselves to find the back of the net, at the very least.

The Stats

Vipers have never lost a game to Bright Stars after winning six and drawing the other nine of the previous 15 meetings between the two sides.

The Venoms head into the game having won three of the past four meetings between the two sides including both of the last two at Kitende.
