KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi says the return of defender Denis Iguma and midfielder Gift Ali gives KCCA more options ahead of their next game.
The Kasasiro Boys will be welcoming UPDF FC on Friday at the MTN Omondi stadium in a league game.
Iguma and Gift made it to the final Squad when KCCA thrashed Busoga United 4-0 in their last game.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Friday’s game, Mutebi says Iguma and Gift gives them more options
“They (Iguma and Ali) have strengthen the squad a bit strong and give more options, he said. He said.
“But them starting or coming off the bench will depend on the last training they have had.”
KCCA FC have scored more goals (30) than any other team after 11 games played, but still sit 5th.
The goals are going in at the other and the Kasasiros are also starting to look solid at the back, lately.
“We need to keep winning matches that’s all. Mutebi continued.
“They have been effective scoring goals and not conceding at the other end.:
In the last two fixtures against Kitara FC and Busoga United, KCCA FC have not conceded while scoring eight.
Mutebi gaffer was full of praise for his boys but still picks out some areas to improve.
“The have been effective in defence”.
“However we have been winning matches, but there are some mistakes that can’t go un noticed.
“They have been giving out free kicks in dangerous areas but they are improving with each passing game.”
After 11 games, KCCA sit in fifth position with 20 points.
Up next for them is a home game against UPDF FC.
