The Federation of Uganda Football Associations’ Disciplinary and Ethics Committee Adjudicatory Chamber has given BUL FC Head Coach Arthur Kyesimira a two-match ban for misconduct.
In a statement, FUFA has found Kyesimira guilty of exhibiting offensive, insulting rude comments and gestures towards match officials.
This, was during his side’s game against MYDA FC on 26th February 2021 at Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe.
He was expelled from the dug-out for his unsavory behaviors during the course of the game which BUL FC emegerd 4-1 eventual victors and FUFA, through it’s disciplinary committee, has brought the football laws into play.
“The statements and gestures made of FUFA competition Rules Article 30(5)(a) in as far as threatening match officials which brings the game of football into disrepute,” reads a Statement from FUFA in part.
The ban will pose a big blow for the Jinja-based side who have endured a torrid league season thus far with just 13 points from 11 games to the time of writing.
Kyesimira is set to miss the side’s away game against Bright Stars on Wednesday and the home tie against strugglers Kitara FC on March 13.
Kyesimira joins Express FC Coach Wasswa Bbosa on the list of coaches who have been caught against the law this season by FUFA.
