Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa says his side will bounce back stronger in the upcoming games after suffering their first loss in the season.
The Red Eagles were defeated 1-0 by UPDF FC on Tuesday with Alex Kitatta netting the only goal at the Bombo Military grounds.
Before the loss, the Red Eagles had recorded one of the best starts ever in the club history.
Speaking to the club’s media, Bbosa believes the team will bounce back stronger before adding that the league is a marathon.
“Well I think the players did their best but we just couldn’t come out on top. He said.
“There is a lot to learn from this loss one of which being that the league is a marathon the games come thick and fast.
“But what matters most is our reaction in the next game and I can I assure you we shall bounce back stronger starting with our next game against Kyetume FC at home.”
The Red Eagles have suffered misfortunes of late with Arthur Kiggundu and George Ssenkaba.
The Gaffer says it’s now time for the other players to step up and help the team.
“We have also picked up some injuries one for Ssenkaaba and Kiggundu who are out for up to six weeks but I believe every player available for selection can step up and help the team win.”
The Red Eagles now sit third on the log with 28 points, two behind leaders Vipers SC and second placed URA.
