UPL: UPDF Inflicts 11th Loss Onto Sorry MYDA

UPDF FC continued their resurgence with a commanding 3-0 win against MYDA FC in a league game played in Tororo.

Robert Eseru set the tone with a 26th minute goal before Brian Kalumba headed in the second as the Army side took a 2-0 cushion at the break.

Davis Kasirye made it three for the visitors with a goal at the hour mark to hand MYDA a routine loss.

Kefa Kisala’s side, off the back of a 1-0 home win over Express FC, are currently sixth with 24 points after 14 games.

Newcomers MYDA remain without a win since gaining league promotion from the Big League.

They are rock bottom with three points after losing their 11th game.

MYDA will visit Kyetume while UPDF will host Wakiso Giants to end the first round.
