BUL Overcomes Kitara In Five Goal Thriller

BUL FC defeated Kitara FC in a five goals thriller played out at the Bugembe Stadium on Saturday.

Deogracious Ojok scored a brace while Peter Oketch netted the other goal for the hosts.

Edison Agondeze and Denis Mande scored in for the visitors who could not add another victory to the one they earned at home to Wakiso Giants earlier this week.

As early as the opening minute of play, Ojok had already found an opener for the host from a well converted free kick before completing his brace which was a winner from the spot following Martin Aprem foul in forbidden area in 69th minute.

Either side of Ojok’s goals, Oketch had doubled the host’s lead in the 19th minute after capitalising on errors made by Kitara defence when they failed to clear their lines off a thrown-in directed into the box.

Agondeza pulled one back for the visitors off a Peter Lomoros assist just before halftime before Mande converting from the spot to level matters in the 52nd minute.

Despite late pressure from Kitara, BUL held on to a 6th victory of the season.

The win has keeps BUL in 9th place with 19 points from 14 games and will, next, pay a visit to Mbarara City FC next Wednesday.

For Kitara who are still stuck in 15th position on 5 points, they face Busoga United next Thursday.
