The Nile Special Stout Rugby Premiership continues this Saturday with more mouthwatering clashes.

Leaders Betway Kobs face Warriors on Match-day two in a game dubbed the Mileke Shield that will honour the Late Patrick Mileke Othieno Aredo.

Mileke, passed away on September 8 2019, has three sons playing rugby – Joseph Aredo (Kobs), Warriors duo Gabriel Aredo and Erasmus Aredo.

Mileke attended almost every rugby in the country, and Saturday marks the second year the shield will be played in hit honour.

The Shield challenge is played annually over two games between Kobs and Warriors with the overall winner taking home the shield.

Kobs come into the encounter on the back of a 51-00 victory against Rhinos in Bweyogerere last Saturday and will fancy their chances to take all points.

The Warriors on the other hand, didn’t play on match day one after their clash with Hippos was pushed to Good Friday.

Elsewhere, defending champions Heathens will seek to build on a 24-19 win over Pirates last Saturday when they face Buffaloes at Kyadondo.

Pirates will seek to get points on board against Mongers in Bweyogerere while Impis have a daunting trip to Dam Waters to face Hippos.

Rams and Rhinos will set the day’s tone with a 2pm-kickoff game at Legends.
