Preview: Desperate Times for Wakiso Giants

Wakiso Giants host Busoga United on Matchday 13 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakissha.

The game comes after Wakiso Giants 3-2 bitter loss to Kitara FC, where the club officials blamed poor officiating for the loss.

Coach Douglas Bamweyana was sent off at Kavumba and told his fans that he has quit the game. But in dramatic scenes, he has decided to ‘soldier on’, walking back to his initial shocking decision.

FUFA has since rescinded his red card and will be on the touchline to steer his club against Busoga United.

The visitors come into this one on the back of a 1-0 win against MYDA where they needed a late goal from substitute Shaka Ssozi in a lunchtime kickoff game.

The win was the first for Busoga United this season, and will look to build on that as they embark on a long journey to survive the drop.
