Uganda Rugby Sevens Squad For Emirates Invitational Named

Uganda has named their squad for the upcoming Emirates Invitational Rugby Sevens tournament.

The tourney is due April 2/3 and April 8/9 at the Emirates Dubai Stadium.

Uganda Rugby Sevens is among the eight nations to take part alongside Kenya, Canada, Japan, Spain, France, Argentina and Chile.

Prior to the tournament, Uganda had held two training camps outside the city, the latest was held last month in Jinja.

Four Betway Kobs players Ian Munyani, Joseph Aredo, Adrian Kasito and Pius Ogena have been included in the squad alongside Michael and Philip Wokorach.

Uganda is a two-time Rugby Africa champions (2016 and 2017) and competed at the 2018 Rugby World Cup sevens held at AT&T park in San Francisco, USA.
