Okello Hails Former Coach Mutebi

Uganda Cranes and Paradou FC midfielder Allan Okello has hailed his former coach Mike Mutebi who parted with ways with KCCA FC.

Okello was full of thanks to Mutebi for his great contribution to the Paradou FC midfielder’s football Career.

Mutebi and KCCA agreed by Mutually terminate their employment contract at the on Monday, March 29.

Okello who is among the successful young academy graduates under Mutebi’s Stewardship made these remarks on his social media platforms.

For the three years while with KCCA, Okello racked up 39 goals in 112 matches putting him on the radar of many North African clubs.

After his success at KCCA, the young magician joined Paradou on a free transfer in 2020.

With the news of the Gaffer’s departure touching most of the Football Fraternity, Okello was quick to express his sadness for the Gaffer’s exit before hailing him.

“CAN’T BELIEVE, Goodluck Coach MIKE.Okello stated on his Facebook website.

“Words can’t bring out all I can say now all I can say is I hope you ain’t thinking of retirement , because there are many young players still out there that needs your help.

“Just know we love you so much , you made us what we are today.”

Okello made his senior debut on 27th February 2017, bagging a hat trick on the day as his side KCCA humiliated Onduparaka by 7-0 at Lugogo.

Despite his departure Mutebi is regarded as the most successful Coach for the Kasasiro Boys having won three league
titles, two Uganda cups, four Super cups and one CECAFA Clubs Cup.

Mutebi’s former assistant Morley Byekwaso has been put in charge of the team on interim basis.
