Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 Dates Revealed

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) have released the dates for this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 ties.

The Uganda Cup returns after the competition was declared null and void last year.

This year’s fixtures will start at the Round of 32 and it will be contested for by Startimes Uganda Premier League and FUFA Big League clubs only.

Kansai Plascon joined Stanbic Bank as the sponsors of the tournament in a two year sponsorship deal worth Sh132m.

The winner will get sh50m and represent at the CAF Confederation Cup, the runner up will walk away with shs.20m while semi finalists will be given shs.12m, Quarter finalists will bank shs.6m as those who will bow out from Round of 16 and 32 will take home shs.3m and shs.1.5m respectively.

The competition will be played home and away and the respective winners on aggregate over both legs will process to the round of 16.

The games will be broadcasted live for the first time.
The First leg will start on 5th April Easter Monday to Wednesday 7th April. Then the Second leg will be played between Thursday 8th April up to Sunday 11th April.
