Police FC earned a well deserved victory as they beat Kyetume FC 3-0 away from home at the FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.

Hassan Muhamood, Ben Ocen and Brian Mululi were all on target for the Cops to ensure victory for the Abdullah Mubiru coached side.

Both teams had lost their last games of the first round, with Police loosing 1-0 to Express at Betway Muteesa II Stadium while Kyetume lost by the same scoreline to MYDA FC.

With eleven minutes played, Muhamood opened the scoresheet for the Cops after he capitalized from a poor clearance by the Slaughters defence.

On his first touch on the ball, substitute Ocen doubled the lead in 63rd minute after collecting from Herman Wasswa.

With four minutes on the clock, Mululi put the icing on the cake with the third goal for the visitors hence putting the lead far beyond the Slaughter’s reach, thanks to a Ocen’s assist.

The result sees Police move to fifth place on 28 points level with SC Villa but with a better goal advantage.

For Kyetume, they are winless in their 11 league games and remain 14th with 12 points.
