Thirty three days after he was appointed head coach of Kyetume FC, Alex Isabirye has been asked to step aside.
Isabirye has been relieved of his duties due to the team’s poor performance including a 3-0 home loss against Police FC on Saturday, April 03.
The tactician who was appointed in the role on March 02, took charge of only six games, losing five and drawing just once.
Isabirye took over from Livingstone Mbabazi who was fired because of the teams poor performances at the start of the season.
Jackson Mayanja who has been acting as the team manager and technical director will take on the coaching duties at the Mukono based club.
Kyetume have struggled in their second season in the top flight and will have to step up big time if they are to avoiding relegation.
After 16 games, the Slaughters are 14th on the Uganda Premier League standings with 12 points, four adrift of safety.
There next game will be at home to Express FC in the Uganda Cup on April 06.
