Express FC head Coach Wasswa Bbosa says his side will take care of Kyetume on Tuesday.
The two sides will meet at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru in the Uganda Cup round of 32.
Bbosa made those remarks after the team’s training on Monday.
The Red Eagles head into this game full of confidence having earned victory Over URA FC in the league on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the Kyetume game, Bbosa says they are ready having won their latest.
“We are well prepared having won our league game against URA. Bbosa said
“But most importantly this is a different competition, a knock out tournament.”
Express face a Kyetume side that has had a poor run in the league this season and still sit in the relegation zone.
They have seen Alex Isabirye depart and replaced him with technical director Jackson Mayanja.
When they met in the league this season, the two sides drew 0-0 at Wankulukuku Stadium in a game that saw Express miss several goal-scoring opportunities.
Bbosa says they are aware of the team they are facing before adding that they have worked on how to score goals
“We are playing teams that gave us a hard time in the league. We drew goalless when faced them (Kyetume) at home as we failed to convert out chances.
“We have worked more on scoring goals when we play away from home and we think our players are aware that we must compete for all trophies up to the last minute in order to take the club back at the top.”
In a bid to revive the Club’s glory, the Bbosa coached side will be looking forward to using the Uganda Cup as another avenue for a trophy.
After the first leg, the two sides will meet again in four days for the second leg at Wankulukuku.
