The Uganda Women’s National Football Team, Crested Cranes will take part in the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup qualifiers.
This was confirmed by the Federation of Uganda Football Association through their official Twitter handle on Wednesday, April 07.

The Crested Cranes will be taking part in their second successive qualifiers after falling at the first round last time out.
They lost 1-0 on aggregate to Kenya during the qualifiers for the 2019 edition that would take place in France.
The 2023 Women’s World Cup will be hosted in Australia and New Zealand between July and August.
This edition will see an increase in the number of participants from 24 to 32. USA are the defending champions of the competition after defeating Netherlands in the 2019 finals in France
Africa will have four representatives in the finals who will be determined by the 2022 Women Africa Cup of nations in Morocco.
It is also understood that the Uganda U-17 and U-20 Women teams have been entered into the FIFA U-17 and U-20 World Cup Qualifiers.
