Uganda Cup
Thursday 8th April
BUL FC 3-1 Black Power FC (Agg: 5-1)

Bidco Uganda Limited (BUL) booked their spot in the Uganda Cup Round of 16 after beating Black Power 3-1 at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe on Thursday to win the tie 5-1 on aggregate.

BUL FC also won the first leg of the tie 2-0 at the Emokori stadium, Bukedea on Monday.

The host’s goals were scored by Joseph Semujju, Simon Peter Oketch and Robert Mukongotya.

Michael Siwu scored from the spot for Black Power who were just not good enough over two legs.

BUL started brightly and in the 15th minutes Semujju got a chance to put the hosts in the lead but he missed a close range tap in.

Five minutes after missing, Semujju broke the deadlock to give the home side a deserved lead.

BUL later doubled their lead in the 25th minutes through Simon Peter Oketch scoring his second goal in the tie having also netted on Monday.

BUL FC kept on dominating the game and in the 30th minutes another opportunity was wasted this time Deogracious Ojok as he missed from close range.

Substitute Mukongotya who replaced the injured Douglas Bithum restored BUL’s two goals-lead four minutes after Black Power scored a consolation.
