No Sharing Youth As FUBA Set To Release Final NBL Fixture

There will be no Sharing Youth in this year’s National Basketball League, The-SportsNation has exclusively learnt.

The Nsambya-based side is set to be dissolved ahead of takeover by Victoria University.

This will mark the first time in over eight years for the NBL to be played without Sharing Youth, a club that was formed in 1999.

Sharing Youth lost franchise player Caesar Kizito to seven time League champions City Oilers in the concluded transfer window.

They join Warriors as the other side to miss the coming season that is expected to tip off on April 17, 2021.

Two Women Clubs – UMU Ravens and A1 Challenge – pulled out earlier due to Covid19 effects.

The league will be played at KIU and UCU courts, per the first draft fixture.
