The Uganda National Netball team, She cranes are still ranked seventh in World Netball as per the latest released International Netball Federation (INF) rankings.
The latest rankings reflect on matches played since the 29th of November 2020 up to 31st of March 2021.
These include the just concluded SPAR Challenge Tri Nation Netball Series where the She Cranes were participants playing a total of six matches.
However, Uganda finished runners-up behind bogey-side South Africa and hence the She Cranes rating has dropped from 123 to 122, while South Africa, who won all their matches increased their rating by 2 to 154. Namibia’s rating drops 4 and they drop one place in the rankings to 24th.
How Are INF Rankings Carried Out
The INF World Rankings are published by the International Netball Federation (INF) to make it possible to compare the relative strengths of internationally active national netball teams.
Initially, rankings were based on the results from the World Netball Championships, and released after the conclusion of each event, every four years.
