Uganda Claim Sixth Spot At Emirates Invitational Tourney

The Uganda Rugby Cranes managed to finish sixth in the second round of the Emirates Invitational tournament in Dubai.

On Thursday, Uganda lost all their three group games against Kenya, Spain and Canada.

In the quarterfinal on Friday, the side lost to France 33-07.

In the placement games, Uganda beat Japan 24-19 thanks to tries from Philip Wokorach (2), Desire Ayera, Isaac Massa and Philip Wokorach, Wokorach making two conversions in the cause.

In the game to determine who finishes fifth, the Cranes lost to rivals Kenya to settle for sixth place.
