KCCA FC booked a place in the Uganda Cup round of 16 after eliminating Nyamityobora.
KCCA won 1-0 at Kakyeka to go through on a 5-2 aggregate victory having won the first leg in Lugogo 4-2.
Charles Lwanga, off the bench to replace Sadat Anaku, received from Julius Poloto before bundling home late in the game.
KCCA FC were good value for the result and could have won by a better scoreline. Ashraf Mugume came close twice while Sam Ssenyonjo had an header that rattled the crossbar.
Poloto was denied by Nyamityobora goalkeeper Shedrack Ssebulime, a moment earlier, he had teed up Anaku whose shot went just wide.
Hassan Jurua almost marked a long awaited return with a goal but his header off Poloto corner in the opening exchanges was just an inch off the target.
Earlier, kickoff was delayed, and it required Referee Shamirah Nabadda as a spectator, to step in as the centre referee with Robert Donney changing to fourth official.
Nyamityobora shift focus to UPL promotion while KCCaA will wait to learn their round of 16 opponents.
