*Ndejje University 0-3 SC Villa
(Villa win 3-1 on aggregate)
Geoffrey Wasswa marked his debut with a goal to help SC Villa overturn a first leg deficit and march on to the round of 16 past Ndejje University in Uganda Cup.
The former Vipers player, playing his first game for the Jogoos, scored from the spot after an handball in the forbidden area.
His goal in the 66th minute came in between of Ronald Ssekiganda’s opener and Emmanuel Wasswa’s strike in the 71st minute as Villa staged a second half surge.
Ssekiganda’s goal came just after the hour-mark in the 62nd minute when he headed home from Agandu’s cross to settle nerves.
Villa had lost the first leg 1-0 at Bombo Barracks Grounds on Easter Monday.
The Jogoos were good value for the result, with new signing Wasswa coming close through a freekick that went an inch wide in the eight minute. He later saw his other set-piece kept out by Ndejje shotstopper Jeans Wokarach.
Wokorach had earlier denied Francis Olaki to keep the score all square.
Ndejje, who turns focus to top flight promotion, will rue missed chances including one that Vincent Abigaba skewed over.
