Proline FC Director Mujib Kasule has officially announced his bid to run for Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Presidency ahead of August elections.
Jiba, as commonly known in football circles, made the official announcement on Tuesday at McKinnon Suites in Nakasero.
He joins incumbent Moses Magogo and MP Allan Ssewanyana who announced their bids recently.
“I am going to participate in this political football season, I have offered myself to lead the struggle to reclaim the glory of our game,” said Jiba.
“I announce that I will stand for FUFA Presidency in the coming elections.
“I think we need a reset, we need to reorganise the game. It needs systems and structures such that individuals don’t comeback and deprive us of this beautiful game called football.”
