Mbarara City FC needed a late goal to overcome struggling MYDA FC in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game at Kakyeka Stadium on Tuesday.

Derrick Onyai scored in the 87th minute after his cross took a deflection into the goal for the Ankole Lions to pick their fifth win of the season.
