*Mbarara City 0-0 KCCA

SC Villa held URA FC to a goalless draw in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game at Bombo Military ground.

The Tax collectors were pre match favourites going into the game won the reverse fixture and given their form this season.

However, just like they did against Express and KCCA FC in their last two fixtures, SC Villa proved a hard nut to crack and walked away with a point.

Sam Ssimbwa’s charges were dominant and will rue missed opportunites on the day they missed to leapfrog Vipers on league summit.

Striker Cromwell almost gave URA an early lead but his effort rattled the crossbar while Michael Birungi was denied by Saidi Keni.

Defender Benjamin Nyakoojo headed wide, captain Shafic Kagimu’s wonderful shot was equally saved by Keni to frustrate the Tax Collectors.

For Villa, Muhamed Ssenoga’s chance was easily saved by Nafian Alionzi, Geoffrey Wasswa freekick was off the target while Alionzi kept out Ronald Olaki header at the hour mark.
