Kataka Football club beat Maroons FC 1-0 in the only Big league game played on Wednesday.

Peter Lusimbula scored the only goal for Kataka as they climb top of the Elgon group.

Maroons have now lost three games in a row, away to Calvary and Mbale Heroes at home and away to Kataka.

The Charles Ayeikho headed side, after Match-day 6 stay 4th on table with just 7 points out of the possible 18.

Maroons will be eager to complete the first round on a high when they visit Black Power at the Emokori stadium in Bukedea

On the other hand Kataka climb top of Elgon group with 12 points garnered from 6 games, a point above Arua Hill who are in action on Thursday.
