Emmanuel Okumu and Francis Azolibe added 12 points each as the Namuwongo-based side led from start to finish.

They were 14-8 up in the first quarter and extended the gap to 33-18 at the long break. The Canons won the third 21-13 to cut the deficit seven points but Nam Blazers eased into the last quarter to get the job done.

Peter Sifuma, 11 points, was the only Canons player to score double digits as Fayed Baale (8) and Caesar Adoke (7) came closest for a side that shot 6-for-29 from beyond the arc.

Elsewhere, Jimmy Enabu posted 20 points as City Oilers recovered to beat Ndejje Angels in a midday fixture. New signing Fidel Odur Okoth and James Okello added 15 and 13 respectively.
