Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Uganda Martyrs High School have secured slots into the playoffs of this year’s FUFA Women Super League from Group 1.
Games in group 1 climaxed on Saturday with two games and its Uganda Martyrs High School that sealed their slot to join Kawempe Muslim thanks to their 2-1 win over Tooro Queens.
Spencer Nakacwa and Anita Namata scored goals for the Lubaga based outfit to overcome Tooro Queens who had pulled back through Resty Kobusobozi.
The result meant Uganda Martyrs went level on points with Kawempe Muslim (9) and the two had a superior goal difference ahead of third placed Kampala Queens who also had the same points.
Kampala Queens had won their game against Makerere University coming from behind after Sharon Namatovu had given SHE MAK the lead.
Resty Nanziri and Fauzia Najjemba scored a goal apiece to guide Kampala Queens to victory.
Tooro Queens who had three points finished fourth while Makerere University ended bottom of the log with no point.
Action continues on Moday with Group 2. This has UCU Lady Cardinals, Lady Doves, Isra Soccer Academy, She Corporate and Olila High School.
